Anyone interested in a 1983 Jeep Wagoneer Limited project? It runs fine, but obviously in need of tlc. It was my next project that I have done quite a bit with, but I don’t see that I will have the time in the near future. My loss is someone else’s gain.

The good - 360 engine runs great and the transmission shifts smoothly. Everything was present on the car before I started to disassemble for restore. The 4wd engaged before I disassembled the linkage and dash switch. The body is in really good shape other than what’s described in “the bad” section below. I was able to get most of the electrical sorted out such as door locks, power windows and seats, interior and exterior lighting, etc.

The bad - there is a small oil leak, probably the rear main seal. There is some body rust, mainly in the rear quarters and floor pans which I started working on but didn’t get far. I have all of the original seats, panels, etc, but It will need a full interior coverings including carpet, head liner and seats. The AC does not come on, but it may just need charging. There is a short in the instrument cluster (pops the fuse).

Great project for someone handy. Asking $3,800, but I’d consider a trade for a nice 4-wheeler or a side-by-side.
