401 runs pretty good, 39534 miles on the clock, probably 139534. rebuilt the carb, new spark plugs, wires and coil. retrofitted a gm hei into the dura spark box. new coolant hoses and heater hoses. A/C compressor does cycle off and on. radio works. Rear power window works on both switches, front seats are in remarkable condition for not being recovered. new fuel lines from filler all the way up to the carb. Had a quick polish on the wheels done before putting brand new Goodyear trail runner AT 235/75r15s have some mismatched hubcaps that are included. transmission needed some fluid but it shifts into drive and reverse without issue.
The body is a bit rough, had a rear end impact at some time in its life, most of the damage was in the left tail light bucket and it split the quarter panel off the jeep at the wheel tub, right side quarter panel isn't much better due to rust. Needs quarters, hockey sticks, wheel tubs in the rear, and drivers side rocker is showing that its soft tailgate is also pretty rusted in the bottom. needs brakes all around as they are pretty worn but functions. windshield is cracked and all doors and windows need new weatherstripping. I do have a parts waggy if anyone is serious about this one that has a decent tailgate and wheel tubs that i could let go of also.
I'm selling this one because it have too many waggys at the moment and don't want to dive into body work on it. Clean title in hand, no idea how long its been since it was registered. message me with any questions i have a ton of pictures of it. Would love to see this one get back on the road.
